About

Creating ceremonies that celebrate unique lives

Understanding how difficult it is to navigate the death of someone who touched your life, I offer a way to support families and friends at this hugely important and reflective time. I wish to help honour and celebrate that person’s spirit and memory, by creating and delivering meaningful ceremonies and celebrations of life that are considered and bespoke.
As an independent funeral celebrant, I can incorporate small aspects of ritual/spirituality/religion that may be important for the person who has died, or for their family and friends. I believe in celebrating what made that person unique and ensuring these qualities are recognised. Whether that’s through words, poetry, music, the setting, or even a particular theme, I am passionate about creativity and can help craft a truly distinctive ceremony or celebration of life, or even blend both, for a one-of-a-kind occasion.

"I decided to become a funeral celebrant following the deaths of two dear friends, which occurred just a couple of months apart. Inspired by how distinctive each of my friends’ ceremonies were, I trained with the Academy of Modern Celebrancy, renowned for recognising and celebrating individuality. This opened my eyes to the limitless options available, from ‘traditional funerals’ to ‘creative celebrations of life'."
